HD3700 Breaks Up To 12 Inches of Concrete*
The Hurricane Drop Hammer HD3700 is a high-production, low-maintenance drop hammer for breaking flat concrete. Drop hammers are superior to hydraulic hammers or breakers at breaking flat concrete in every important category. The HD3700 is easily connected to a skid steer or an excavator. It efficiently breaks flat concrete in industrial tear-outs, as well as parking lots, curbs, roads, runways, aprons, and sidewalks up to 12 inches thick.*
The Hurricane drop hammer HD3700 is a high-production, low-maintenance drop hammer for breaking concrete. Manufactured by Universal Impact Technologies, Inc., the HD3700 is easily connected to a skid steer or an excavator and efficiently breaks concrete in industrial tear-outs, as well as parking lots, curbs, roads, runways, aprons, and sidewalks up to 10 inches thick.
SHOCK-FREE ground engagement platform system keeps the hammer grounded and focuses the shock into the pulverized concrete. Operators are more comfortable and do not feel the vibrations normally associated with hydraulic hammers.
The BOLT ON dampening system that isolates the hammer from the skids at the base of the hammer. The hammer’s force and vibrations are transferred into the ground to deliver a powerful and isolated impact.COMPACT DESIGN, light weight and easily transported. Call Us Now
SIMPLE CONNECTION allows for easy attachment changes.
LOW MAINTENANCE: There are only three moving parts on the drop hammers – an industrial-strength drive chain and two steel spindles - which significantly reduce maintenance costs and downtime. The hydraulically-driven chain lifts the steel hammer, which drops to the ground and crushes the concrete. There are no bushings, accumulators, expensive seals, or points of wear to replace.
HIGH PRODUCTION due to the striking surface’s broad face and coverage area.
LOW INVESTMENT and high-volume production results in the lowest cost per yard ton of broken concrete when compared to traditional hydraulic hammer production.EASY OPERATION reduces operator error and fatigue. The operator simply guides the skid steer in a straight line – and does not aim or continually reposition the hammer. EASILY ATTACHED The two-position mounting bracket attaches to skid steers without obstructing the door. The HD3700 can be attached to a 2,300-pound capacity skid steer, and the HD10000 to a 3,500-pound capacity skid steer. FOUR BOLT MOTOR and cradle system prevents loosening of the bolts and cracking of the motor.
HD3700 Drop Hammer Advantage
-
Drop Hammer impact-to-weight ratio crushes that of a hydraulic hammer.
-
The bolt-on-ground engagement end plate makes maintenance accessible and easy and eliminates vibration back to the skid steer or excavator found in hydraulic breakers.
-
Low maintenance because there are no points, bushings, seals, or accumulators to replace, and there are no oil leaks or nitrogen charging found on hydraulic breakers.
-
Drop hammers pulverize concrete, making clean-up and disposal easier and less expensive, with no heavy, large concrete slabs to deal with like a hydraulic hammer.
